John Bruneau is currently persuing his MFA degree in Digital media from The CADRE Laboratory for New Media at SJSU. He is an instructor at Cadre as well as an editor for Switch. He did his undergraduate work at UCSD and holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts and Music. Much of his recent work has revolved around surveillance and interface. Currently John is researching gaming, cellular automata, and information systems visualization. Combing these ideas into his next big piece will be sweet... if possible.

Art should make people wake up and look around with out telling them what to think. Art should be in flux and engaging not stagnant. Artists shouldn't take them selves too seriously... Seriously.
