Environmental composition, sound composed by and of the street. By creating an awareness of the potential in the inhabitant’s environment the ordinary or mundane is infused with possibility. Sounds of the downtown site are collected and edited, then processed. This process distills the source to its tonal or textural essence. These newly processed sounds are placed within a circuit. This circuit analyzes the environments ambient sound, matching frequencies from life to ones defined by the circuitry. When a match is made the processed audio is allowed to play.
