Lu Jie presented his project The Long March in the ISEA 2006 opening keynote speech. For four years, Jie's on going project has been examining the strange space that exists between the historical event and the mediated memory (or materiality and ideology). The presentation was followed by a short inteview with Joel SLayton and a converstaion with the symposium participants.
