Sara Gevurtz is a graduate student at San Jose State University pursuing her Masters of Fine Art in Digital Media. She received her undergraduate degree in Evolution, Behavior and Ecology Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Her current work focuses on ecological and environmental issues. By employing various different media her work tries to make ecological issues easily accessible to those who do not necessarily have a scientific background. She is also specifically interested in environmental issues that are not only biologically complex, but also have political complexities.
